1. Why your customers need it
Every Windows Server or PC with a port open to the internet is found by scanners, usually within hours. Then the guessing starts: Remote Desktop, VPN, SQL Server, Exchange and mail logons, day and night. Windows records the failures (Security event 4625) but does not block the address that keeps trying.
